faccio mente locale I gather my thoughts → memo
faccio = I make · each app finishes the sentence

I build the apps I needed and couldn't find.

Small tools for everyday things: studying, eating, training, splitting bills and keeping track of money. Each one does a few things well, and nothing else.

I wrote these for myself, I use them every day, and now I'm opening them to a few testers.

N°01

memo

remember what you learn faccio mente locale · I gather my thoughts

Save a word, a fact or an idea in under a minute. memo brings it back right before you would forget it, with a short daily review on your phone.

WHYI kept meeting new words and facts, and losing them a week later.

N°02

mangio

food and macros faccio colazione · I have breakfast

Log what you eat, meal by meal, scan a barcode or copy a label, and see your carbs, fats and proteins. Calories are always worked out for you.

WHYmy old food tracker got slower and busier every year. I only wanted the logging.

N°03

sudo

training log faccio i pesi · I lift weights

Follow your training plan week by week and log every set. Each set starts from what you did last week, so going up is a tap or two.

WHYtyping numbers into a spreadsheet between sets, with one bar of signal, is no fun.

N°04

scrocco

split shared costs faccio a metà · I go halves

Add what each person paid on a trip, in a shared flat or at dinner. scrocco shows who owes whom, and a simple plan to settle up.

WHYevery group trip ended with a long chat about who still owed what.

N°05

pago

your money, one line at a time faccio i conti · I do the accounts

Type "pizza 12.50" and pago fills in the amount and the category, ready for you to check and save. Then search your history, see a month or a year, or export it all.

WHYI stopped tracking spending every time an app asked for five taps per coffee.

how I build

Four rules I try not to break.

  1. 1

    Start from a real need.

Every app began as something I wanted for myself, not as a market I spotted.

  2. 2

    Fewer features.

If a button isn't used every week, it doesn't belong. Saying no is most of the work.

  3. 3

    Use it every day.

I use these apps myself, every day. When something is annoying, I feel it first.

  4. 4

    No tricks.

No ads, no trackers, no selling data.

Want to try one?

  1. 01Pick the apps you'd use and leave your email. That's all I ask for.
  2. 02I invite testers in small groups, so I can listen to each one.
  3. 03When an app launches, testers hear first. If you like it, tell a friend. That's how small apps survive.
